Joe Ferone grew up in Yorktown Heights, NY and always had a passion
for cars and motorcycles. After attending 1 year in a traditional college
in 1991, he began his automotive career in a repair shop in White
Plains, NY as an entry level technician. With about one year of
experience, he ventured off to Colorado to attend Denver Automotive
and Diesel College where he graduated with honors while working a
50hr work week as a technician in a transmission shop. Upon returning
to NY in 1994, Joe and his father ran a small gas station while constantly
continuing his automotive education. He eventually grew Proper
Service to a multi-shop organization. Living in Mahopac, NY with his
wife and three children, allows him to operate two locations now in
Baldwin Place, NY and Croton Falls, NY. Proper Service is a community
based, full service automotive organization, established in 1994 with
the promise that the customer will be treated right because WE CARE.
When Joe’s not working, he enjoys many activities including spending
time with his family, fishing in local lakes, watching baseball, and being
part of the local community.
